We had a fantastic Easter break at this traditional family home! the property was spacious, cosy, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a short stay and was conveniently located for visiting nearby Ballater. We especially loved the wonderful woodland walk that was within walking distance from the house. the outdoor space was also a pleasant surprise, and our children had a great time at the playpark behind the house. Another huge plus was the responsive owner who was always available to address any concerns or questions we had.
There were a couple of drawbacks to our stay. the heating was controlled by the owner's mother in the adjoining property, which meant we had to request for it to be turned on or adjusted.

We had a great time at this spacious and well-priced hotel. The location was wonderful, nestled in a charming village surrounded by forests. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. The large kitchen and several living rooms were a highlight, and the huge garden was perfect for children. Plus, our furry friend was welcome too!
Some minor maintenance issues need attention, like dripping taps and sticky cupboards.

Rien ne me vient à l'esprit.

We stayed at a lovely renovated old house in a remote village surrounded by forests. The property was spacious with a huge kitchen and several living rooms. The owner, who lived in a nearby bungalow, was incredibly helpful. Despite the initial challenge of finding the house, hidden behind the school, the large garden with lots of trees was ideal for children. The house itself was warm, clean, and comfortable, with a cozy fireplace and a wood-burning stove for extra warmth. The mini snooker table provided great entertainment on a rainy day.
Nothing, all good! 👍

Aboyne? More like Abo-fun! I hiked, skied, and played billiards in this holiday home. Plus, free WiFi and mountain views for when I needed a break from all the fun.
Who needs more than one bathroom anyway? Just a small inconvenience in an otherwise amazing stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at this lovely renovated old house in a remote village surrounded by forests. The owner was incredibly helpful and the huge kitchen and multiple living rooms were perfect for our family. The property's huge garden was a delight for our children to explore. Although it took a bit of effort to find the house, the owner provided clear directions from the church on the main road. The location was ideal for us, as it was a short drive to various attractions in Cairngorms national park. The house itself was warm, clean, and comfortable, with a cozy open log fire and a wood burning stove. We also appreciated the mini snooker table for entertainment. The shower was excellent and the overall size of the house was fantastic.
It would have been more convenient to have an additional bathroom, as the only one was on the second floor. We also found the location a bit far from restaurants and amenities.

This place was absolutely incredible! The house is spacious and located in a peaceful area. The owner was so helpful, even fixing a boiler problem in no time. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had a great shower and a cozy bathtub. We had more than enough towels for our stay. The kitchen was large with a fantastic dining table. The log fires were amazing, and there was plenty of wood provided. The house was warm, clean, and cozy, with extra heat from the wood burning stove. The huge garden was perfect for our dog, and we loved the mini snooker table for rainy days. Although the bathroom setup could've been better, the shower was excellent. The host was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. There was ample room for everyone, and the large fridge and freezer were a plus. The kids had a blast with the pool table. The value for money was outstanding, and we had a fantastic experience. The fact that our dog was welcome made all the difference. The owner was responsive and the location, although rural, was easily accessible by car. The garden was gorgeous with plenty of parking space. The nearby pub served meals, which was convenient. This lovely hamlet was a great base to explore the surrounding areas.
