Plenty of living space for everyone to relax. Fabulous garden with outdoor seating. Comfy beds and well-lit rooms. Dog-friendly, which was important for us. a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

We had a fantastic Easter break at this traditional family home! the property was spacious, cosy, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a short stay and was conveniently located for visiting nearby Ballater. We especially loved the wonderful woodland walk that was within walking distance from the house. the outdoor space was also a pleasant surprise, and our children had a great time at the playpark behind the house. Another huge plus was the responsive owner who was always available to address any concerns or questions we had.

There were a couple of drawbacks to our stay. the heating was controlled by the owner's mother in the adjoining property, which meant we had to request for it to be turned on or adjusted.

The location was ideal for us, as it was a short drive to various attractions in Cairngorms national park. The house itself was warm, clean, and comfortable, with a cozy open log fire and a wood burning stove. We also appreciated the mini snooker table for entertainment. The shower was excellent and the overall size of the house was fantastic.

It would have been more convenient to have an additional bathroom, as the only one was on the second floor. We also found the location a bit far from restaurants and amenities.
